Long before I understood what career coaching was, I was already practicing it.
As a young person, people sought me out when they felt stuck — at a crossroads, doubting themselves, or unable to see the possibilities ahead. I didn’t have a structured approach then; I simply knew that my greatest joy came from helping someone move from feeling stuck to gaining clarity. From doubt to direction. From recognising their potential to actually living it out.
That instinct has been the constant thread throughout my career. Over 16 years in human resources across Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, I’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of professionals through periods of growth, transition, and change.
From organizations such as Procter & Gamble and Shell to my current role as HR Director at SaskTel, the environments and challenges have evolved, but the core of what drives me has remained the same: helping people find clarity, recognize their potential, and move forward with confidence.
